We were "church shopping" as we're new to the area. We were totally disappointed in The Met. Not one person came up to us to say hi, are you new or even welcome. The congregation just looked at us and kept walking. Every church we have visited at least one person said good morning or welcome. The music was also so loud Sincerely, disappointed.

  • On Church shopping, a neighbor suggested The Met Church. My daughters and I tried. It is a lot of singing (not old gospel, but new age rock). The Pastor's sermons always hit me where it hurts. I feel very comfortable here as I don't feel so much of the hypocrisy that I received when I was a little girl in my church in Ohio. My father left our family for no reason other than he didn't want the responsibility of the family. People that were my parents friends asked my mom to quit teaching Sunday school as she was no longer a good example of what a "Good Christian" was supposed to be. I LOVE that about this church. I don't know anyone yet, but it is a large church and participating in organized programs and bible studies should take care of that.

  • I am new to Texas and was searching for a church. A co-worker referred me to The Met Church, After attending one time, I knew I found our new church! From the greeters welcoming you to the music and the icing on the cake is Pastor Bill Ramsey. It has been a long time since a Pastor or church has reached me... Pastor Bill has a God given talent when it comes to delivering the Sunday message and putting them into word that will captivate all age groups. I am blessed to have found The Met Church. I have taken several out of state family member there and we all have the same reaction. AWESOME please to worship. I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know Pastor Bill and other members in the upcoming weeks.
