I have only good things to say about Trinity Baptist Temple Academy. My daughters had been home schooled for three years prior to attending TBTA. I had always known about this school since I lived in the area, however, I never considered it because I didn't know much about it. When I decided to enroll the girls in a private school, this school was recommended to me from a friend because of affordability.
I called the school and scheduled a meeting with the Assistant Principal, Gregg Jones. It was his display of love for the students, the faculty and his love for Christ that won me over. I knew my daughters would be in good hands. The extremely affordable price was an added benefit. I immediately enrolled the girls for the following year and the transition has been easy.
Being a mom that had only home schooled my daughters for three years I was a little concerned as to where they stood in comparison to other students their age. The teachers immediately worked with my daughters on subjects they were slightly behind in by offering after school tutoring at no additional cost.
Overall, I have been extremely pleased with the school and only wish I would've found it sooner.:)Added March 31, 2017 by Kristen Hammer - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
Don't enroll your kids here unless you want a very fundamentalist form of religion forced on them.

INCOMING PARENTS PLEASE READ: THEY PADDLE YOUR KIDS!!!
I was looking to register my 9 year old for 3rd grade FOR THE 2016-2017 school year. Kelly ( Vice - Principle) was kind enough to give us a tour three months prior and go over details on a normal school day. My husband and I took time off of work twice to make sure this was the perfect school for our little girl. We decided to begin at Trinity Baptist Temple Academy and turned in paperwork and paid a $500 enrollment fee on a Friday 7-22-2016. I received a call from Gregg (Principle ) on 7/25/2016 and was informed that if I am not 100% on board with paddling my 3rd grader that she cannot attend their school. I explained to Gregg that I do not discipline my kids with paddles, if there was a situation that arose where she would need a paddle to contact me immediately and I would gladly go to the school to discuss disciplinary action. I further explained that I live and work 2 miles from the school and could be there in less than 5 minutes. Gregg explained to me that if I don't agree and give them permission to paddle my daughter in the rear end she will not be accepted in the school and I needed to agree to this policy or she will not attend their school. I simply wanted to be contacted first before any disciplinary action because I am the parent and they should not have to discipline. Gregg's theory was if a child hits another child they should have permission to paddle a child instantly and not wait to contact a parents- So basically Gregg you are teaching the kids not to hit and but yet turn around and hit the child with a paddle -This makes no sense. I was very disappointed that Gregg was more concerned with paddling my daughter than her education. Basically my daughter has no voice at that school he clearly confirmed this when he stated that he would believe a teacher over a 3rd grader and I needed to trust them. I don't know how you raise your kids Gregg but my children have a voice and a choice. I'm very shocked and disappointed on the schools priorities. I understating that in the end these are your rules and guidelines but I should not be discriminated because I don't allow you to SPANK my child. Craziness going on at that school. Where are your priorities?
I do not recommend this school at all. I am not opposed to spanking as a form of discipline all I asked for was to be contacted before to be a part of the decision after all I am the parent!! and that was not acceptable for Gregg so we withdrew because he does not have permission to paddle my 9 year old daughter.Added September 28, 2016 by Melissa Flores
